Coastal Maintenance Inc. was established in March of 1962 as a field compressor maintenance company. Two friends had formed this partnership, Raymond Williams and Harold Gaskin. They both had returned to the United States after spending several years in Venezuela helping develop the countries eastern gas fields. Both men were in the gas department and helped install new horsepower as well as maintain the current running compressors for the Gulf Company (Mene Grande).
In 1972 the partnership dissolved and Raymond kept Coastal Maintenance and Harold formed another successful maintenance company Gaskin Maintenance.
In 1982 CMI changed its’ focus from a compressor maintenance or service company to a compressor parts supply company led by Larry Williams. Dealing mostly in Used and reconditioned components.
As this end of the industry evolved, we have established working relationships with many major Engineering firms, compressor packaging companies, machine shops and repair facilities in order to provide the customer the parts it need in the time frame needed. Survived a couple of recessions and enjoyed a couple of booms as well.
Still located in the energy capitol of the US, we are in the shadows of HoustonTexas near the beltway in Pasadena.
